Four Plus Foolhardy Folks www.fourplushikers.org/ This is a volkswalk club for hikers who enjoy more challenging hikes than typical volkssport walking events. These hikes are often in National Parks and wilderness areas. Their events are open to everyone. Rogue Valley Walkers http://www.roguevalleywalkers.com/ This is a very active club in Southern OR. It is based in Medford but they do walks in Grants Pass and Jacksonville etc.... This is a brand new website. Their club has been around for years. Plus my mom is the President of the club and my dad is the Vice President. They are hosting the Rogue Valley Riches event in May 2013. AVA has a facebook page too. https://www.facebook.com/groups/American VolkssportAssociation AVA HAS A NEW CHALLENGE FOR 2013 AVA Centurion Challenge The AVA Centurion Challenge rewards walkers who commit to walking 100 American Volkssport Association sanctioned walks in a calendar year. Other volkssport events -- bikes, swims, skis, also count. This challenge debuts in 2013 and can be earned yearly.
