Rebrand walking to include everyone's ability and different ways to walk

I came across a book at a 'little free library' in my neighborhood. It's called, Ian's Ride- A Long Distance Journey to Joy. The author is Karen Polinsky. He navigated the Olympic Discovery Trail in his wheelchair after a bike accident left him paralyzed from the neck down.
I think this is the first book I have seen written about doing a long journey as a disabled person. I hope there are other books waiting to be written.
